Communications Procurement Analyst

Location: London - Hybrid 3 days onsite 

Contract Length: 5 Months 

The Communications Analyst is a versatile, collaborative communicator capable of handling tasks and driving projects across the communications discipline. The analyst supports the development and production of communications content, creating messaging strategies and selecting the appropriate medium/delivery vehicles, such as press releases, digital and social media content, and media briefings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with assigned client/stakeholder group(s) to develop content for external or internal communication strategies, typically around a specific initiative or event.
  • Builds communications to execute on the defined strategies (i.e., which delivery channels to use, timing/cadence of releases, key messages, etc.).
  • Creates content relevant to the established communication strategy, ensuring that content meets the requirements of the client/stakeholder as well as any brand, lexicon, or style standards.
  • Writes and edits copy, adapting approach and form to the relevant communication channel.
  • Leverages past content to build new/revised content.
  • Consults with more experienced colleagues; work is typically reviewed through an established editorial review process.
  • Coordinates the delivery of finalized content, ensuring appropriate approvals and signoffs before delivery.
  • Monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of delivered communications.
  • Maintains and builds relationships as necessary with third parties such as vendors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, and execute flawlessly with great attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing communications for large enterprises.
  • Talented writer and editor.
  • Proactive and collaborative multitasker with exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • A passionate and high-energy style with excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A degree in Communications or Marketing is preferred. 

Experience: 

  • 3-5 years of total work experience preferred, with a background in a corporate or agency communications setting
  • .Familiarity with internal and external outreach, social media, and collaboration tools is preferred.

As a temporary contractor, you'll be employed by our Managed Service Provider, Magnit Global, who manage most of our temporary contract hiring, you will not be employed by Diageo
