Diageo is looking for a Business Process Consultant with a solid track record of process mapping and modelling to play a pivotal role in the organisation’s desire to digitally transform the Procurement and Supply Chain function. You will help set the strategic direction for their Integrated Ecosystem initiative and act as the central point of contact for all things related to business processes.
The project, led by the Global Procurement Transformation team, will focus on rolling out new processes on a global scale to enable Procurement’s strategic priorities. The Procurement organisation (Indirects, Marketing & Supply) is complex, requiring various skills, including but not limited to:
Understanding organisational business processes
Leading and facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders
Proposing new ways to embed processes that align with process simplification and the removal of inefficiencies
The Process Consultant is required to be a specialist in Procurement Business Processes. They will report to the Global Process Owner and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement through analysis, documentation, and process-related change initiatives. The goal is to unlock operational excellence, automation, and improved user experience.

Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to gather and document business requirements related to process improvements.
Identify key stakeholders, understand their needs, and translate requirements into actionable recommendations.
Review business processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with global processes and strategic goals.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, procedures, and work instructions.
Develop and propose new processes or modifications to address identified issues and align with organisational goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create detailed process maps, workflows, and documentation to illustrate proposed changes.
Ensure that potential process gaps and risks are covered in new process designs.
Research industry best practices and emerging trends in digital and technology processes.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of implemented processes.
Track and analyse performance data to measure success, identify areas for further improvement, and drive continuous optimisation efforts.
Monitor process performance and KPIs, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Conduct change management assessments.
Provide necessary content and explanations for process and system functionality.
Proven career development in process modelling, with experience in research and data analysis, business process improvement, or related roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex processes and data sets.
Proficiency in process modelling tools and business process management/mining tools.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to map complex processes, identifying pain points and bottlenecks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels.
Awareness of operating models (both current and target state) and how to develop and use them in projects/programmes.
Experience in developing and implementing process improvement plans, including documenting and communicating changes to employees.
Experience in leading and facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders to extract key information.
Process Certifications (Six Sigma / Lean or equivalent).
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
