Corporate Communications Analyst
Purpose of the Role
The Communications and Project Support Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of the Leapfrog programme by coordinating communications activities and assisting with ad-hoc project coordination and administration tasks to ensure the smooth running of the project.
This position requires:

- The ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
- The Communications and Project Support Coordinator will be a core member of the Leapfrog Change Management Workstream, working together with Change Managers and Communications colleagues to drive engagement and change management activities across all key stakeholders and identified audience groups.
- The Communications and Project Support Coordinator will work closely with the Leapfrog Communications Lead to:
- Plan, create, deliver and track central communications and engagement activities on behalf of the Leapfrog program.
Key Responsibilities
Communications
- Support the execution of (and continued iteration of) the Leapfrog Communications Plan.
- Support the Governance Workstream to produce key programme updates.
- Design and deliver communications content that supports, drives and embeds change across an organisation.
- Draft, edit, and distribute various types of content, including: Emails, Newsletters, Presentations, Intranet updates, Townhalls, Reports
- Support key programme stakeholders (across markets, Global Business Operations, Digital and Technology) in driving effective communications and engagement activities to diverse audience groups.
- Leverage data and insights to:
- Measure effectiveness of communications from message reach and channel effectiveness.
- Take remediation actions as needed.
- Organise and manage Leapfrog workshops, webinars, townhalls and other communication events.
Project Support
- Provide project support to Head of Deployment on an as-needed basis.
- Coordinate logistics for team events such as:
- Workshops
- Townhalls
- In-person events
- Monitor project progress against milestones and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience working in a complex global transformation program in a change communications capacity.
- Experience working in a Change Management team with awareness of:
- Change Management methodologies.
- Activities and outputs that impact communications activities.
- Knowledge of and experience in designing communications utilising the ADKAR framework.
Core Skills
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to effectively target and tailor messages and mediums to various audience groups to achieve intended outcomes.
- Knowledge of and ability to leverage Diageo’s formal & informal communication channels.
- Ability to innovate to generate excitement and engagement.
- Excellent organisational abilities, capable of:
- Managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Managing communications activities and creating content that successfully supports people through change for complex transformational projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to build effective working relationships across diverse teams globally.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in using a variety of tools to develop plans and communications content, including:
- Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Viva Engage, Teams, Canva, Poppulo
- Graphic design and video editing skills preferred.
- Track record of working with third-party providers to collaborate and achieve project goals as one team.
Education
Degree educated.
