Our Finance team plays a critical role in helping the business make informed decisions through strong financial management, accurate reporting and meaningful analysis. The team works closely with business partners and stakeholders to ensure financial performance is understood, risks are managed and opportunities for improvement are identified.
About this role
As a Junior Manager – Overhead Accounting & Reporting, you will take ownership of day-to-day overhead accounting, reporting and analysis. You will work closely with Overhead Business Partners and stakeholders to understand financial movements, provide meaningful insights and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
You will be responsible for:
- Owning monthly overhead accounting, reporting, variance analysis and financial causals for your allocated areas.
- Working closely with Overhead Business Partners and stakeholders to understand overhead movements and their underlying business drivers.
- Ensuring overhead financial information is accurately reflected in financial and statutory reporting.
- Leading the annual planning and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activities for overheads.
- Supporting smooth and accurate month-end close activities while ensuring deadlines and internal controls are met.
- Investigating financial issues, identifying root causes and driving them towards appropriate resolutions.
- Responding to stakeholder queries promptly and accurately.
- Ensuring financial processes are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with internal policies, controls and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting the standardisation and efficiency of overhead processes.
- Supporting internal and external audit activities.
- Taking ownership of assigned areas while collaborating with wider team members to deliver shared priorities.

Experience / skills required

- 6–8 years of experience in controlling, accounting and management reporting.
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting and cost controlling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand financial movements and communicate key insights clearly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- A proactive, customer-focused and solution-oriented approach with strong ownership and accountability.
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
Education & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting.
