Join our Finance Team
Our Finance team plays an important role in ensuring strong financial governance, accurate reporting and effective business decision-making. Working across functions and geographies, the team delivers high-quality financial processes while continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and ways of working.
About this role
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting activities, supporting month-end close, reconciliations and financial controls. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance, identify improvement opportunities and provide clear financial insights and solutions.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring smooth and accurate month-end close activities within agreed timelines.
- Ensuring management and statutory reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- Performing account reconciliations and ensuring financial balances are accurate and properly supported.
- Preparing and posting journals in line with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Supporting end-to-end financial statement preparation and reporting.
- Providing support for legal entity controllership activities.
- Managing and supporting Record to Report (RTR) and Treasury accounting activities.
- Ensuring appropriate financial controls are designed and operated effectively.
- Working with stakeholders across functions to resolve issues and deliver effective financial solutions.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify and improve financial and operational processes.
- Challenging existing ways of working constructively and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preparing clear and straightforward reports and presenting solutions effectively.
- Delivering high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a strong customer focus.
This role provides an opportunity to take ownership of key financial processes, work with stakeholders across an international environment and contribute to improving Finance operations and controls.
Experience / skills required
This could be the right opportunity for you if you have:
- 6–8 years of experience in accounting, with strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Strong experience in Record to Report, financial reporting, reconciliations and Treasury accounting.
- Experience with end-to-end financial statement preparation and legal entity controllership.
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external customers.
- Experience working in a multinational Shared Services Centre environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a controlling mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment with flexibility and a strong sense of ownership.
Systems & technical skills
- Experience with SAP FI/CO modules.
- Experience with BlackLine.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with Power BI is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant international accounting standards such as IAS, UK GAAP or US GAAP is an advantage.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting.
