Laboratory Technician  

Be part of the analytical support team which carries out quality assessment of barley during Harvest intake at Roseisle.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure smooth running of the barley intake and complete analysis to a high standard.

Requirements:

• To be competent in all barley intake analysis.
• To communicate results to colleagues ensuring decisions are made quickly and fast pace of intake maintained.
• Minimum 1 years practical laboratory experience.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to all levels.
• Ability to organise a variety of tasks and prioritise self and others accordingly.
• Able to work as individual but also part of team.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Critical analytical thinking.
• Understanding of Health and Safety requirements relating to laboratory work.
• Track record of great engagement and communication skills.
• Proficient in use of standard business (MS Office) packages.
• Degree level qualification or equivalent in a science-related discipline or be qualified through relevant experience.
• Divers License required
