Role Overview
- The Breakthrough Innovation Fulfilment Project Lead has the responsibility to deliver the Breakthrough Innovation agenda by creating the right conditions to pilot, test and by partnering with Innovation, R&D and Supply Chain, Procurement functions and categories using the Ignite, Accelerate 360 and DVSF tools.
Feasibility and Process Ownership
- The role holder will be responsible for gathering Feasibility evidence for Breakthrough projects and Platforms, providing insight and solutions to move in the most agile and compliant way to test and learn using the Breakthrough created process – Ignite.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Working in partnership with the R&D teams, Breakthrough Innovation function, Innovation and Brand Change Leadership Team, the GBTs, external parties and the Core Innovation teams, the Breakthrough Innovation Project Lead will develop an end-to-end understanding of our Supply Chain opportunities and route to market to enable fast and efficient pilots and informed pathways to scale.
Technical Compliance and Pilot Design
- The Breakthrough Innovation Project Lead will partner with Supply Technical and categories to ensure that pilots are tested and designed to meet all our technical standards and requirements.
Category Integration and Scalability Planning
- The Breakthrough Innovation Project Lead will partner with key stakeholders across the categories to ensure that Breakthrough Innovation projects are understood and built into category plans. They will work alongside our supply partners to create the right conditions to pilot and test, whilst planning for scale up solutions including CAPEX requirements, supplier specifications and relationships for scale and route to market.
Requirements – Capabilities, Skills & Experience
- 5 years experience in technical, Innovation and Brand Change
- Experience in partnering with external parties to deliver solutions
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across the business
- Analytical, strong attention to detail and ability to understand and develop KPIs
- Good financial and commercial understanding of COGS, GM and our costing process
- Good interpersonal and influencing skills
- Good at networking to establish excellent relationships at all levels. Approachable and able to provide clear and concise information
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with and influence stakeholders throughout the organization
- Must be a team player with proven interpersonal skills
- Good IT Skills and the capability to build detailed knowledge of our systems
Education & Qualifications
- Degree in relevant Project Management or Technical Discipline or relevant experience
As a temporary contractor, you'll be employed by our Managed Service Provider, Magnit Global, who manage most of our temporary contract hiring, you will not be employed by Diageo
